Rushing Out
When you have little time and you need a proper showdown, remember the (in)famous quote from Highlander: "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!" *rushes to work*

Second First Bite

Today might be a Sunday, but it certainly feels like a Tuesday for me. Last week I ended up working from Saturday to Wednesday and had Thursday and Friday off. Yesterday, I worked, and when I looked at my schedule, I found myself to have the exact same Saturday-Wednesday block of work. It's somewhat draining, but hey - at least I'm getting some money to pay things off.
Enough on that, though - you're not here to listen to me talk about my life. (Actually, you are, but let's not get into that.)
I recently tried out the demo for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D on my 3DS. I have to admit that the controls took a little bit of time to familiarize myself with the controls. I played Snake Eater for the PS2, which used the traditional "top-down" camera format. Subsistence and Guns of the Patriots used a 3D camera, and while I was easily used to that, it was kind of difficult to use the ABXY buttons to control it. Precision sniping's really difficult with that method... (Well, thank goodness I decided to preorder the 3DS Circle Pad Pro.)
The game menus seem to flow a bit smoothly, too. The touchscreen is used to access the main things most people will end up using (Camouflage, Items and Weapons, etc.) without having to hit the start button sixty billion times and wade through the pause menu.
I'm quite excited for this game. As an avid Metal Gear fan, it excites me to have a game that I'm going to thoroughly enjoy from start to finish (again). (Oh, frak. I just realized that if I want my Stealth Camo, I need to hit those bloody Kerotan figures again. Oh, no...)
Well, I have work shortly, so I must get going. Until the 'morrow, everyone. Take care of yourselves, now!

Can't Talk
Can't talk - too much video games.
On another note: I told you good entries were going to show up this week. You saw yesterday's and Wednesday's, right?
Anyway, gotta go. Have monsters to slay and cards to make. Ciao-ciao.

Tales and Confessions
According to the title of this entry, it's going to be interesting, right? I mean, "Tales and Confessions" - it sounds like that there was originally one topic, but now we have twice the topics to talk about now! Let's go ahead and pile that stuff on!
It looks like the fun has been doubled! Huzzah!

Games and Games and Games
Games, games, games. That's what happens when you get a new game and you have a day off.
You'll hear about it tomorrow for sure. For now, though... *keeps playing*

Good Times Later
I have ideas for a couple of great blogs, but I don't have time until my days off.
Anyway, happy Singles Awareness Day, everybody!

Segue
I didn't feel like typing up anything today, so instead I decided to make a whole bunch of cards for 1000 Blank White Cards. What are they, you ask? Well, you'll see them in due time.
Anyway, tomorrow'sValentine's Singles' Awareness Day, and once again I'm finding myself working that day. I don't care, because let's face it - half of the retail workers working that day laugh inwardly at all the procrastinating fools who totally forgot to get their significant other something for that day.
I know I'll be doing that.
Well, I'm going to go back to making more and more cards. This game is just far too silly for me to simply stop making them. No, no - it requires me to keep playing FOREVER!

Sounds of Procrastination
Something will come up tomorrow. I'm sure of it. For now: work. Whoo.
Oh, and also: other things that I'm not sure of. And things that I'm sure of. And other things. And what not.

Spark Hunting
When it comes down to it, sometimes the things we have to do with our lives require a bit of motivation. What this motivation is will vary from person to person, but generally speaking, it's something that should ignite a spark inside a person.
Obviously, I don't have it - otherwise, this'd be a better entry. That, or it's because I'm still tired from the events of yesterday that extended well into today. (I didn't get enough sleep, and I couldn't force myself back to sleep no matter how much I tried.) So, I'm running on fumes, and as such, any sparks I encounter today just have to be rerouted to more important functions, such as "acting on autopilot" and "alertness."
Oh, and lunch. Maybe that needs a spark, too. =D
