...I don't know how to feel about this. This comes as a major blow to the gaming industry (and obviously Nintendo as well) and to the gamers around the world who grew up with titles such as
Pokémon: Gold/Silver Version,
Earthbound, or the early
Kirby games. A lowly programmer fresh out of college who would become one of the best CEOs of a leading video game company (maybe even one of the best CEOs, period)... we don't see that often - and we probably never will again (at least in our lifetimes).
Rest in piece, Iwata-san. Hopefully one day the world will come to understand.
